The Final Peak Photoset

Back with a bang. Yesterday presented ideal conditions for getting the final of the three Yorkshire peaks under our collective belts: Whernside.  Considered by many to be the most boring of the Three Peaks, freezing temps, a severely icy path, light snow showers and a fantastic inversion layer made for a great walk yesterday. That and having the hills to ourselves helped too; 8 miles, 4 hours, 0 people.

Dogs and Walkers

First time for meself and the Telfaller on this route but it didn't disappoint, perhaps the conditions added to the experience too. A full set of photos is now lurking on Flickr with a full write up to appear later this week - maybe even tomorrow if I get opportunity.

N.B. Apologies for the lack of content recently, a week and a bit in the USA followed by a week of professional development has kept me both tired and pretty darned busy.  Loads of stuff floating round in my head at the moment tho - just raring to reach the keyboard; a couple new walks and a few more App reviews.
